Keeping Marietta beautiful: 2025 Fourth of July Parade

For the last four years, we’ve had the honor of walking in Marietta’s “Let Freedom Ring Parade.” Riding and walking the parade route, helping keep it clean and welcoming for everyone… this parade always feels bigger than just a celebration of Independence Day—it’s a reminder of what community truly means.

As the parade set off at 10 a.m. from Roswell Street Baptist Church, the streets were lined with thousands of families and friends decked out in red, white, and blue. Our team joined the lineup with our vehicle decorated in patriotic colors—and with rolling trash bins in tow.

As we walked the 1.5-mile route through Historic Marietta Square, we asked folks along the way if they had any trash they needed to toss. Candy wrappers, drink cups, programs—if they had it, we were happy to take it off their hands and keep it out of the street.

It was a small gesture, but one that sparked a lot of smiles and thank-yous from the crowd. For us, it was a chance to connect, chat, and share the spirit of the day in a practical, hands-on way. We loved seeing the kids wave flags and hearing “Happy Fourth!” from everyone we met.

We want to give a huge shout-out to the City of Marietta, all the parade organizers, volunteers, and participants who made the day so special. It was an honor to march alongside local groups, bands, first responders, and businesses who make this community great.

Keeping our community clean is just what we do, and we love doing it with friends and community on July 4th! See you next year!
